Srinagar, Mar 28 (KNO): Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Kashmir Unit on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts saved Kashmir after removal of Article 370 and prevented people from getting killed, unlike other government regimes. In a statement issued to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Party's Kashmir Media-in-charge, Manzoor Bhat said they have full faith in Modi Ji stating that the PM saved Kashmir after removal of Article 370 and this time he would also, save the whole country and combat Covid-19. “After removal of Article 370, government-imposed lockdown restrictions to save the lives of Kashmiri people and this time too, government has imposed countrywide lockdown to save the lives of the people,” he said. "During the previous government regimes, hundreds of people were killed and but after removal of JK's special status, PM's efforts saved people of valley," he said. Hailing the 21 days lockdown announced by PM, he said lockdown is the only option that contains the spread of Cornavirus in the country.
